The Sacred Lineage & Heritage
Learning the Bansuri is more than picking up an instrument; it is entering a living, centuries-old tradition.
At The Mystic Bamboo Academy, our offline classes bring the authentic Guru-Shishya Parampara into a modern, nurturing environment in Pune.

Founded by Baba, Ustad Allauddin Khan, the Maihar Gharana revolutionized Hindustani classical music, birthing a distinctive aesthetic defined by crystalline tonal purity, spiritual intent, and an extraordinary capacity to evoke emotions through every note.

Daughter of Ustad Allauddin Khan and a legendary Surbahar virtuoso, Maa was an enigmatic titan of Hindustani music.
A reclusive, revered Guru, her unmatched mastery, uncompromising purity, and sacred wisdom shaped generations of eminent maestros.

The titan of the Indian Bamboo Flute whose legendary blowing technique and lyrical genius brought the humble reed to the world stage.
He transforming the Bansuri into an international symbol of musical transcendence and soul-stirring classical grace.

Senior disciple of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia and Founder-Director of The Mystic Bamboo Academy. Carrying forward the sacred flame of the Maihar Gharana, he distills decades of intimate learning under his Guru into a structured, compassionate methodology.
